Lions, Ladybirds and an Octopus
God made flowers after the rain
God made a lion with a golden mane
anemones orange purple and red
starfish sleeping in an ocean bed
God made seeds and the wind to blow
clouds with rain to make them grow
and many-legged things called centipedes
orange ladybirds with small black beads
Owl watching with big eyes to see
and spiders spinning in a quiet tree
Octopus slurking in the slimy blue
and who made that made me and you
God made trees strong and tall
God made children and loves them all
God made the world and sent his own Son
the baby Jesus, who loves everyone
Creation Poems By Michael Ketler Graye
Whales, Snails, and a Silver Moon
God made the moon a pale silver light
God made the sun to scare off the night
creatures down low and stars high above
fluffy spring lambs that frolic with love
God made the whales to froth up the seas
and long-tailed monkeys to swing in the trees
God made lightning to split the dark cloud
deep roaring thunder that crashes so loud
colorful birds to sing with sweet notes
silver foxes that wear winter coats
slow sliding snails with house on their backs
God made the earth in a clear blue sky
God made trees that reach so high
mountains with snow and rivers to run
God made the cold and the warmth of the sun
cattle to graze in fields of deep green
deep ocean depths where no man has been
butterflies floating on warm summer air
soft spring breezes to whisp here and there
tangly jungles where fierce creatures hide
and slithering monsters with jaws open wide
desert with sandstorm that funnels and churns
black prairie clouds with lightning that burns
God made people with beautiful faces
fingers to feel and tie their shoelaces
God has appeared in Jesus his son,
He knows us by name, and loves us each one.
soft furry balls that really are cats
God gave us eyes to see His Creation
and ears to hear His words of salvation.

A Letter From Heaven - To Mommy
Oh Mommy, do not cry for me
I am fine you will see
You will see how Jesus takes care of me.
He lifts me up on eagle’s wings, above the clouds,
amongst beautiful things.
He calms my spirit and rests my soul,
as you think of me, close your eyes, Mommy
and you will know. Love always Veronica
Poetry Words as Art
Poetry - this often neglected art form is so much more than stanzas that rhyme. It is a means of conveying feeling to its readers just as much as paintings can be to the viewer.
Why are the arts considered to be of such immense value in society? Because they have a mysterious power to reach deep into our soul with blessing and beauty. They can convey feelings which transcend us from the very drab, dull, dark things around us to a place very much as real as our surroundings, and because they touch our soul.
For the artist: composer, poet, painter, etc, in creating that personal expression they bless themselves and others.
Warthology
The Study of being Plebian
Warthology is a bias, one might say most pious, but not in any truth, more unholy and uncouth. A mindset of pitiless rancor, a road of covert anger, a stony, unfeeling wraith, absent of class or grace.
Such is a grievance to my soul, that brings with it an enormous toll, to suffer every day, this twit, in every way. This Warthon of great degree, this toad of odors be, this pythonated hog, should I need to tolerate this bog. Alas, I have no choice, to silence my own voice, until I can get away and Warthon be left to stay, in its vile distorted hate, without me anymore, to shift to another,
with no way to uncover, the filth that lies beneath this hideous rotting sheath.
